PAYMENT AND BILLING

Methods of payment
We are unable to accept checks, cash or credit vouchers online. HiloHattie.com accepts the following methods of payments:
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover
If we are unable to process your credit card, please check to ensure you entered the correct credit card number, expiration date, bank code, and that the billing name and address you entered match you credit card statement exactly. Please refer to your credit card company if problems persist.

Tax
HiloHattie.com collects sales tax in the following states: Hawaii and California. Tax is not collected on shipping and handling charges.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

HiloHattie.com ships to all fifty United States as well as U.S. territories. All shipments originate from Hawaii.

Domestic Shipping
Delivery times will vary depending on the shipping method selected and the shipment destination. As a general guideline for U.S. domestic orders, please allow 5-7 business days for delivery from the time you place your order.

Please provide us with a complete street address for shipping. Most shipments are shipped via FedEx Economy. Any shipments to a post office box address will be delivered via USPS Priority Mail. For USPS shipments, please allow 7-10 business days for delivery from the time you place your order.

Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only (holidays excluded).

Out of Stock Items
Occasionally, high demand may cause us to run out of certain items. If an item you ordered is out of stock, you will be notified via e-mail. Your credit card will only be billed for items after they are shipped. Therefore, charges for out of stock items will not appear on your invoice or bill. We are unable to accept backorders through HiloHattie.com at this time.

Checking the status of your order
If you have successfully placed an online order with HiloHattie.com, you can check the current status of your order by clicking on "My Account" from our home page.

Tracking the delivery of my package
To help you track the status of your shipment, we will include a Fedex tracking number on your "My Account" page as well as in your confirmation email. To check on the status of your delivery, please click on the appropriate link below and enter your tracking number:

If you think your order is late, please note that:

  • It takes 2-3 business days (excluding holidays) to process an order.
  • Delivery occurs Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We take great pride in our reputation for quality and excellent value. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will send you a prompt refund, exchange or credit, whichever you prefer.

Exchange and Return Policy for Online and In-store Purchases:

  • With receipt - Within 30 days of purchase, any merchandise that has not been used or damaged may be returned along with the corresponding receipt for a full refund or exchange.
  • Without receipt - Merchandise Credit may be issued at the current selling price, for items that have not been used or damaged and returned without a receipt.
  • Refunds will be made in the same form of payment as the purchase. Any refunds of purchases made by check or cash, and all non-cleared checks, in excess of $100.00 will be issued by mail check.

Returning/Exchanging Online Purchases
Enclosed with every Internet order, you'll find a receipt that includes a refund and exchange form. Fill out the appropriate portion of the form and enclose it with the merchandise you are returning. Pack and seal your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include form.

For exchanges, please enclose payment for $6.50 for return shipping/handling via credit card or check/money order.

If you received damaged goods or incorrect merchandise, we will reimburse you for the cost of returning the package to us, and you will not be charged for the shipping cost of your replacement order.

Returning/Exchanging Store Purchases
If you need to return or exchange an item that was purchased in one of our stores, you can contact the store directly. Use our store location page to find our store contact information.

Price Adjustments
Hilo Hattie will provide one price adjustment of full-price merchandise within 7 days of your original purchase if we lowered our price for the item. You can mail your original invoice with a note indicating the item and its new price to:

Credit Card Refunds
On returns, we can only credit the credit card used for the original purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.SPECIAL
