“Win A Trip to Hawaii!!” Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. Here’s How To Play: Sweepstakes is open to the public and no purchase is necessary. Sweepstake applications are available at all Hilo Hattie stores, and on Hilo Hattie’s website at HiloHattie.com. Entries through Hilo Hattie stores must be on the official entry form (duplicate copies will not be accepted). Limited to one entry per person per day. Hilo Hattie will not be responsible for lost, late or stolen entries. All entries must be in by 10:00 pm on December 31, 2008. The winner will be chosen by January 14, 2009.

2. No purchase or transaction necessary: You may enter the sweepstakes without making a purchase by providing all contact information including your name, address, phone number and e-mail address on the sweepstakes application forms or by applying through Hilo Hattie’s website at HiloHattie.com.

3. Sweepstake prize: The sweepstakes prize will include the following; round-trip for two to Hawaii on United Airlines coach class from any point it serves in the Continental U.S. Some flight restrictions and block out dates may apply. This prize will be awarded and the winner will be notified by certified mail. Travel must be completed before 12/15/09 (No extensions will be allowed). In addition, the winner will receive $250 gift certificate valid towards Hilo Hattie labeled garments at our any of our Hilo Hattie Hawaii or mainland store locations and 6 night Ocean View one Bedroom Suite accommodations at Hilton’s new Grand Waikikian Hotel. Approximate Retail Value of the prizes is $5,500.

4. Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to all individuals 18 years or older except employees and immediate family members (i.e. spouses, parents, siblings, and children) of Hilo Hattie, Hilton and United Airlines, its affiliates or subsidiaries, its advertising agency, printer, and other companies involved with the execution of the sweepstakes.

5. General Rules: Sweepstakes will be pulled by random. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18, or if all required information is not submitted on the application, an alternate winner will be chosen and awarded the applicable prize. All entrants must agree to these rules with the final decision made by Hilo Hattie. The winners hereby consent (where legal) to the use of his or her name by Hilo Hattie for the purpose of advertising on behalf of the organization without compensation. All tax liability is the sole responsibility of the winner. Sweepstakes is subject to all Federal, State and Local Laws. Sponsor reserves the right, without further obligation or liability, to cancel this sweepstakes at any time. The chances of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Entering the sweepstake on line thru HiloHattie.com, automatically signs up the participant to HiloHattie.com’s weekly newsletter, offering specials and new products throughout the year.
By participating in this promotion, all participants and prize winner agree that Hilton Hotels Corporation, Hilton Grand Vacations Company, Hilton HHonors Worldwide, LLC, Hilton International CO, their partnerships, subsidiaries and affiliates and each of such entities’ respective officers, directors , agents and employees are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, illness, litigation or damage that may occur from participation in the promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes. In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these officials rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of California and that it shall be resolved by and within the courts of that state.
The sweepstakes drawing will be under the supervision of the management of Hilo Hattie. All decisions in all matters relating to the sweepstakes are final. Hilo Hattie reserves the right to correct errors in printed sweepstakes material in conjunction with the sweepstakes. This or any other promotion elements are void if stolen, misused, mutilated, altered, unreadable, counterfeit in whole or part, defective, printed or produced in error. Only the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

6. Winner: To obtain the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Hilo Hattie Sweepstakes Winner, 700 Nimitz Highway, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817, Attention Carlton Kramer, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
